As an important hoisting equipment,cranes play an important role in various engineering fields.As one of the important mechanical parts of the crane,the wire rope directly bears the gravity load of the lifted goods and plays an important role in the safety of the crane.However,the safe use of steel wire rope will not be guaranteed if there are security risks such as irregular fixation at the rope end of steel wire rope.Therefore,in this paper,the rope end fixing method of the combination of wedge joint and rope clamp of crane boom wire rope is analyzed in order to improve the safety of wire rope.
