As for the dust pollution caused by grab bucket coal unloading,commonly used dust suppression methods,including water mist dust suppression and ventilation dust removal,all have their shortcomings and limitations.The application of air curtain technology in blocking the dust generated by coal unloading of grab bucket reflects the innovative combination of air curtain technology and dust blocking,but the research on the influence of air curtain generator structure on the uniformity and deflection of air curtain is not enough.In this paper,the structure of air curtain generator was numerically simulated by CFD computational fluid dynamics method,and the structural parameters to ensure the uniformity and deflection of air curtain generator were obtained,including the diameter of air column of 70 mm and the spacing of guide vanes of 20 mm.The effect of air curtain jet on blocking dust was simulated by CFD fluid,and the velocity distribution of air flow field and dust movement trajectory under different air curtain jet wind speeds were unveiled.The results show that when the jet velocity of the air curtain is 6 m/s,the air curtain can effectively block the dust generated by the grab coal unloading,which can serve as a reference for the dust control in coal unloading of grab bucket.
