Based on researches on the internal structure,actual stress,wire rope structure and internal torque generation mechanism of hook group of offshore deep-water crane,the mechanism of torsion of hook group in deep-water operation is analyzed,and the correction coefficient of wire rope torque coefficient is introduced.In addition,a design scheme of anti-torsion device(rope separator)suitable for double-rate hook group is also introduced.This device can effectively solve the problem of excessive torsion of hook group,improve the stability of hook group in deep water operation,and prevent wire rope from knotting,thus making the deep water operation of offshore crane safer and more reliable.
