To analyze the vibration characteristics of the planetary reducer with broken teeth,a precision helical planetary reducer was taken as the research object,and the gear ring and the broken teeth were flexibly treated.The rigid-flexible coupling dynamic models of the normal state and the planetary gear,sun gear and gear ring with broken teeth were established by using Abaqus and ADAMS respectively,and then the vibration acceleration signals on the gear ring were obtained,and compared with the vibration acceleration signals collected by experiments.It is proved that simulation signals are highly consistent with experimental signals.The analysis results show that in the time domain,the amplitude and RMS value of vibration signal will increase when the planetary reducer has broken teeth.Compared with the broken teeth of planetary gear and ring gear,the influence of sun gear tooth is more significant.In frequency domain,the vibration signal of planetary reducer contains side frequency components centered on meshing frequency and its frequency multiplication,and planetary carrier rotation frequency and gear fault characteristic frequency play a modulating role in vibration signals.
