This paper delves into the planning and construction of 5G communication networks that integrate software engineering technology.Firstly,the basic characteristics of 5G communication networks and their key technical indicators such as high speed,low latency,and large capacity are outlined.Furthermore,explain the important role of software engineering in communication network construction,emphasizing the contributions of technologies such as Software Defined Networking(SDN)and Network Function Virtualization(NFV)in improving network flexibility and reliability.A 5G communication network planning and construction plan that integrates software engineering was proposed.At the same time,the application of software engineering project management and methods in 5G network optimization was explored,providing a new perspective of effectively integrating software engineering technology with 5G network planning and construction.
