Construction and Simulation Experiment of an Agricultural Enterprise Park Network Based on a Three-layer Network Architecture
To enhance the stability of the park network and minimize the effects of single point network failures,a three-tier network architecture model for agricultural enterprise park network, based on multi-protocol hot standby, was established using a computer network simulation platform. This model is integrated with an agricultural production environment monitoring network consisting of programmable logic controllers, various types of sensors, and edge computing gateways. The model's effectiveness, reliability and fault tolerance are verified through real-time data transmission via the simulation model.Experimental results demonstrated that this network architecture model effectively circumvents network interruptions triggered by single point failures in the convergence layer and core layer.Through multiple random simulations of single point network device failures, the average self-healing time for the network was 35.74 seconds, can ensure the sustainability of data transmission in the agricultural production environment. The combination of the virtual simulation network architecture model and the physical agricultural production environment monitoring network for research verification substantially enhanced the degree of model simulation and the accuracy of verification results.
