Design and Implementation of Library Self-service Loan and Return System Based on Arduino Microcontroller
With the concept of smart library gaining popularity,domestic libraries use advanced information technology to establish library self-service loan and return system to realize the electronization of book borrowing work,which has become an important symbol to realize the modernization of book circulation work.This paper designs a library self-service borrowing and returning system based on Arduino microcontroller and RFID identification technology.After users click the borrow book button in the software,they will call the computer camera to scan the book bar code.After identifying the book bar code,the RFID identification module will identify the user's borrowing card to read the user's information.The buzzer will emit a"beep"sound to indicate successful identity recognition.After the completion of the loan,the data will be automatically recorded in the background data table.At the same time,when the user returns the book,the software side of the system chooses to return the book,after the camera recognizes the bar code of the book,the software front end shows that the book has been returned.The system is through the library network technology,data technology,automatic identification technology,the realization of the reader to handle the loan and return procedures of the work system,with rapid borrowing,returning books,inquiry and other functions,greatly improve the efficiency of the library,to the reader has brought great convenience.
