With the popularity of online learning platforms,performance prediction based on students'online learning behavior provides more effective support and guidance for education and teaching,and has attracted much attention in the field of education.This article introduces the application of intelligent optimization algorithms in predicting academic performance,detailing the principles of several major intelligent optimization algorithms such as particle swarm optimization(PSO),genetic algorithm(GA),simulated annealing algorithm(SA),etc.It also introduces their achievements in predicting academic performance and summarizes the research on performance prediction using intelligent optimization algorithms.
