Virtual reality(VR)technology is a hot topic in the field of computer science today,with applications covering various aspects such as gaming and entertainment,education and training,healthcare,and more.However,the application effect of VR technology is largely constrained by the level of computer technology development.This article analyzes the important role of computer technology in improving the effectiveness of VR applications from the aspects of graphics processing,human-computer interaction,network transmission,and sensor fusion.High resolution rendering and dynamic scene optimization have significantly improved VR visual effects;Technologies such as gesture recognition,eye tracking,and tactile feedback have revolutionized VR interactive experiences;Low latency transmission protocol and cloud edge computing optimize the network transmission efficiency of VR;The fusion application of inertial sensors,biometric recognition and other technologies has further expanded the application scenarios of VR.With the continuous advancement of computer technology,the application effect of VR technology will continue to improve,bringing people a more realistic,natural,and smooth immersive experience.
