The SERF values of 8 reactive dyes from Nippon Kayaku Co.,Let.and Kyung-In Synthetic Company were tested,and the influence of dyeing process on dye fixation rate and K/S value was explored.The compatibilities of the two groups of dyes was ana-lyzed.The results showed that the four dyes of Nippon Kayaku Co.,Let.had similar substantivity and different reactivity,while the four of Kyung-In Synthetic Company had different substantivity and similar reactivity.Two groups of dyes showed high tolerance to dye-ing temperature and alkali dosage;As the bath ratio increases,the fixation rates of all 8 dyes showed a decreasing trend,but the de-creasing trend and range of the fixation rates of the four dyes from Nippon Kayaku Co.,Let.were relatively similar.
