Progress in the Electrochemical Treatment of Dye Wastewater
The composition,characteristics and environmental hazards of dye wastewater were summarized.Various treatment methods of dye wastewater were introduced,and the significant advantages of electrochemical method in terms of ease of operation and treatment efficiency were point out.The electrochemical treatment methods for dye wastewater were reviewed,including the principles,charac-teristics,effects and application prospects of electrocatalytic oxidation,electroflocculation and electro-Fenton processes.Research di-rections in the future were discussed.
