New Process for Preparing Benzene from Cyclohexane
In different conditions, the conversion and selectivity of synthesizing benzene from cyclohexane by dehydrogenation with a catalyst that supported active substance platinum were studied. The results indicated that the reaction temperature could significantly improve the conversion rate and selectivity of the dehydrogenation. In optimum conditions:reaction temperature 295 ℃,weight hourly space velocity 1.0 h-1,reaction pressure 50 kPa,platinum content in catalyst 1.00%,reaction time 30 minutes, the conversion rate and selectivity of the reaction was 97%and 99%,respectively.This process could be a reference for the green synthesis of aromatic dye intermediates.
