New Desalination Process of Seawater for Coastal Dyeing Enterprises
Present state of seawater desalination was introduced and problems of seawater desalination were pointed out.In different conditions, the effects of ion rejection rate and membrane flux in nonpower seawater desalination process were studied with an amide-modified permeable membrane as the core material. The results showed that the membrane flux on both sides of the membrane could be significantly improved by increasing the circulation volume during seawater desalination process. In the conditions of temperature 20℃,circulation volume 120 L/h,operating time 1 h and operating pressure 0.3 MPa,the ion rejection rate of the modified osmotic membrane was 99.4%,and the membrane flux was 20.1 L/(m2×h).The new process of seawater desalination using modified osmot-ic membrane without external power could be a reference for continuous and efficient desalination of seawater.
