Analysis on Mangrove Propagation Technology and Nursery Management
Mangrove is one of the ecosystems in the tropical and subtropical coastal areas.It has important func-tions such as windbreak and bank protection,clean water and carbon sequestration,and biodiversity protection,taking into account economic,social and ecological benefits.With the rapid development of China's society,population and economy,the area and resources of mangrove forests are gradually declining,which shows that China should continue to develop mangrove forests.Horticulturists and gardeners need to master the seedling and process management of mangrove plants as the premise,skilled application of mangrove propagation and cultivation technology,to lay the groundwork for later cultivation and afforestation.In this paper,the process of mangrove seedling cultivation is briefly introduced,and the site selection,influencing factors and seedling cul-tivation techniques are sorted out and summarized in detail,so as to provide reference and guidance for man-grove seedling cultivation and help mangrove coastal ecological restoration.
