This paper aims to explore the influence of different interplanting patterns on the growth of Morinda officinalis and to screen the suitable interplanting modes based on the studies of leaf,root,chlorophyll,polysac-charide content, and soil properties. The results indicated that the ranking of the most favorable growth modes was:Mode 3>Mode 1>Mode 4>Mode 2.Among them,Mode 3,Brazilian ginseng+M.officinalis in the new forest environment, was more conducive to the growth of leaves and roots, chlorophyll synthesis, and polysac-charide accumulation. At the same time, all the interplanting models increased the soil nutrient contents, among which the soil ammonium nitrogen, available phosphorus, and available potassium in model 3 were the highest.
