Spatial-temporal Evolution of Ecological Vulnerability in the Gansu Section of the Weihe River Basin
In order to understand the ecological environment status of the Weihe River Basin and objectively grasp its temporal and spatial variation characteristics. This study selected the conceptual model of ecological sensitivities, ecological adaptivities and ecological exposures(VSD)of the Gansu section of the Weihe River Basin as the research area, and constructed the ecological vulnerability assessment index system of the Gansu section of the Weihe River Basin. The grid was used as the evaluation unit. The ecological vulnerability of the Weihe River Basin in Gansu Province from 2005 to 2020 was evaluated by using spatial principal component analysis(PCA)and geographic detector. The results showed that:(1)the ecological vulnerability in the Gansu section of the Weihe River Basin was mainly moderate, and the degree of vulnerability gradually increased from southeast to northwest.(2)The comprehensive index of ecological vulnerability from 2005 to 2020 was 2.83,2.75,2.62 and 2.51,respectively,showing a decreasing trend.(3)The mildly vulnerable area mainly consists of woodland, the mildly vulnerable area mainly consists of woodland, grassland and cultivated land, the moderately vulnerable area and the severely vulnerable area mainly consists of cultivated land and grassland, and the extremely vulnerable area gradually changes to the urban residential area, industrial and mining land and unused land.In general, from 2005 to 2020,the ecological fragility of the Weihe River Basin in Gansu has decreased, and the ecological environment quality has improved.
