Characteristics of Land Use Change and The Impacts on Habitat Quality in Heihe River Basin
In recent years, land use and habitat quality change have become a hot topic in the field of global environmental change.Taking Heihe River Basin,a typical arid inland river,as the object, based on the land use change characteristics of the basin from 2000 to 2020,the InVEST model was used to quantitatively assess the habitat quality of the study area in the past 20 years, and the impact of land use change on the habitat quality was further analyzed by the contribution method. The results showed that:(1)From 2000 to 2020,there were frequent land use changes in the Heihe River Basin, and bare land and grassland were the main transfer types.(2)The overall habitat quality in the Heihe River Basin was in a poor state, but there was a trend of first decreasing and then increasing in the past 20 years;(3)The conversion of grassland to forestland promoted the improvement of habitat quality in the basin, and the conversion of grassland to bare land accelerated the decline of regional habitat quality.Strengthening the governance and protection of grassland ecosystems was an important factor to promote biodiversity conservation in the Heihe River Basin.
