Reduction Effect of Different Oxygen Producers on OxygenReleasing in Reducing Substances of Gleyed Soil
The effects of oxygen release characteristics of different oxygen producers and the mixing ratio of coated and uncoated aerators on soil reducing substances and Eh in different gleyed paddy fields provide theoretical basis for soil improvement in gleyed paddy fields. The experiment was conductedby combining the hydroponics test with the gelatinized paddy soil as the research object.Twenty-one treatments were set in the hydroponics test to measure dissolved oxygen in water. Two kinds of soil with different degrees of gelatinization were set in the soil culture test.Coating mixing ratio,a total of 24 treatments, determination of soil Eh potential and reducing substances. The best commercially available oxygen producers were treated with calcium peroxide 2-3 mm and urea peroxide 3-5 mm.Both calcium peroxide and urea peroxide could reduce the content of reducing substances in soil and increase the Eh potential. Both calcium peroxide and urea peroxide have advantages in reducing the reducingsubstances, among which the ratio of no coating:3:7 proving most effective.
