Research on the Spatiotemporal Evolution and Influencing Factors of Ecological Security Status in Jiangsu Province
Ecological security assessment is an important means to effectively improve the level of ecological security and a key part of regional sustainable development research.This article takes Jiangsu Province as the research area and constructs an evaluation index system for the ecological security status of Jiangsu Province based on the PSR model.It analyzes the temporal evolution and spatial distribution pattern of the ecological security status in Jiangsu Province from 2015 to 2021.Furthermore,the article utilizes the barrier degree model to analyze the main obstacles factors affecting the ecological security status of Jiangsu Province and proposes targeted countermeasures and suggestions based on the analysis.The results indicate that:(1)from 2015 to 2021,the overall ecological security level of Jiangsu Province showed an upward trend,with significant regional differences,specifically manifested as higher in the south and lower in the north;(2)factors such as green coverage in urban areas,population density,government investment in environmental protection,per capita green space,and industrial wastewater discharge are the main factors affecting the ecological security of Jiangsu Province.Based on these conclusions,the study proposes policy implications to comprehensively strengthen awareness of ecological security protection,adhere to the population as a key point for ecological security,encourage the implementation of urban ecological restoration projects,and enforce legal regulations and punitive mechanisms to optimize ecological security.
