A Preliminary Study on the Construction of a Virtual Simulation Course for Horticultural Facility Construction and System Installation Guided
The construction and installation of horticultural facilities is the core content of the Greenhouse Design course in the field of facility agriculture science and engineering. The course introduces the design and construction of various common types of greenhouses(arch greenhouse, solar greenhouse, circular arch multi-span greenhouse, serrated multi-span greenhouse,Venlo multi-span greenhouse, etc.)systematically, including the structural design of greenhouse buildings, main steel frame assembly, heating and ventilation design of greenhouses, the principle and design of greenhouse window opening and curtain pulling systems, the design and installation of greenhouse coverage systems, and the design of greenhouse control systems. The traditional experimental teaching of greenhouse construction and installation can generally only be conducted in a decentralized manner due to the limitations of the site and experimental period. The students can only access and understand one of the links, and the effectiveness of the experiment is not satisfactory, making it difficult to achieve the effect of improving vocational skills in greenhouse construction. This article uses engineering modeling and virtual simulation as technical means.Through the intuitive understanding of three-dimensional graphics and a systematic evaluation system,it improves students'understanding of drawings and stimulates their interest in learning. This not only improves their understanding and application of construction and installation technology, but also deepens their understanding of drawings and enhances their professional skills in horticultural facility design.
