The Impact of Pig Breeding Environmental Regulation on Green Production Efficiency
Under the dual constraints of resources and environmental concerns, improving the efficiency of green production is key to the green upgrade of pig production.Based on the perspective of differentiated technological innovation, this study constructed a Solow model with environmental factors to test the impact of environmental policies on green production efficiency in pig production.Big data were used to crawl the data bars of China's provincial panel policy from 2008 to 2019 and analyses the pathways and mechanisms of environmental regulation on the efficiency of green production through the ML index and the two-step systematic GMM model. It was shown that different types of technological innovation have a significant impact on green production efficiency, the environmental regulation of pig breeding will compensate for the technological innovation of pollution control and squeeze out the technological innovation of pig breeding, which will ultimately reduce the green production efficiency of pig breeding. It also provides systematic theoretical guidance for reforming the environmental regulation of pig production.
