In order to explore the suitable urea species for maize cultivation in Xiangyun County,the author conducted a field experiment in the local area,and compared the effects of five different urea species on the yield and quality of maize using'Xuanhong 99'as the test material.The results showed that urea species had a significant effect on the yield and quality of maize,and humic acid urea and polyglutamic acid urea had the best effect under the same N application rate.It is recommended to apply 217.39 kg/hm2 humic acid urea or 217.39 kg/hm2 polyglutamic acid urea as nitrogen fertilizer during the planting process of maize in Xiangyun County.
