The Effects of Different Altitudes on Ecological Restoration Result in North Slope of Qilian Mountain Eastern End
In order to enhance the ecological restoration effectiveness and reduce cost in north slope of Qilian Mountain eastern end,the differences of plant species, vegetation cover, soil relative water content, runoff marks, and restoration costs were investigated and researched, which were on artificial restoration, natural restoration and natural vegetation of different altitude. The result showed that in different restoration areas at the same altitude, the number of plant species, vegetation cover, soil relative water content of artificial restoration were higher than natural restoration, but lower than natural vegetation;the runoff marks was lower than natural restoration, but higher than natural vegetation. In different altitude at the same restoration areas, the plant species, vegetation cover, soil relative water content were first increased and then decreased with the altitude increased, the runoff mark was first decreased and then increased with the altitude increased, and the restoration costs was increased with the altitude increased. The plant species, vegetation cover of 2400~2600 m and 2600~2800 m were higher than another altitude, the restoration cost was in the middle, where were suggested to restored with artificial restoration first,The plant species, vegetation cover of 3000~3200 m were lower than another altitude, the restoration cost was higher, where was suggested to restored with natural restoration first.
