The Response of Corn Photosynthetic Traits and Yield to Commercial Organic Fertilizer Replacing Chemical Fertilizer
In order to study the effect of organic fertilizer on corn yield, four organic fertilizer substitution treatments with commercial organic fertilizer were set up,replacing 15%,30%,45%,and 60%(T4),respectively,using no application of commercial organic fertilizer as the control(CK).The study focused the photosynthetic parameters, dry matter accumulation, yield and its components. The results showed that applying organic fertilizer significantly increased the net photosynthetic rate and substantially raised the dry matter accumulation at various growth stage. The maximum value was reached when organic fertilizer replaced chemical fertilizer by 45%,and the yield reached 13144.39 kg/hm2.Therefore,organic fertilizers can promote corn growth and yield, with the best effect achieved when replacing chemical fertilizers by 45%,making it suitable for promotion and application in production.
