The construction of digital countryside is the strategic direction of rural revitalization,and the digital literacy of farmers is the key to promoting endogenous development in digital countryside.Currently,digital literacy degree of Chinese farmers is relatively low,especially in the underdeveloped rural areas.This paper,from the perspective of farmers,establishes an evaluation index system of farmers'digital literacy from five dimensions,general digital literacy,digital social literacy,digital creative literacy,digital professional literacy and digital security literacy.On this basis,a questionnaire is designed to investigate farmers in Wulan Wusu Town of Xinjiang.The research finds that the digital facilities in this Town are relatively complete,but the overall level of digital literacy of farmers is low.The three demand factors of economic demand,information demand and social demand,and the three environmental factors of policy and law,information service and scientific and technological level are significantly positively correlated with the digital literacy degree.The author puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions in the three aspects of government,society and farmers.
