Determination of Available Phosphorus in Soil by ICP-AES
A method for the determination of phosphorus content in soil was established with ICP-AES. The ICP-AES method got accurate results when it used to determine the national standard sample （GBW7416）. The ICP-AES was also compared with the spectphotometry to determine the soil sample. The results show that the determination values gained by above two methods have no significant difference. The ICP-AES has more advantages, such as simple operation, high sensitivity, good accuracy, and meets the requirements of determination of phosphorus in soil sample.
