Determination of Vitamin C in Crateva unilocularis from Different Regions
The extraction of vitamin C was measured by ultrasonic extraction and HPLC method, which using 2% oxalic acid solution as extracting solvent, and using 0.05 mol/L KH2PO4 solution-methanol (90 : 10) as mobile phase and the detection wavelength was at 254 nm. Under these conditions, the vitamin C content from the tender leaves of Crateva uailocularis in the four different regions, including Shiping, Pu'er, Xishuangbanna and Jianshui, was 0.79 mg/g, 1.4 mg/g, 1.5 mg/g, 1.6 mg/g respectively. And vitamin C content in Crateva uailocularis is the highest in Jianshui, the lowest in Shiping. This method was accurate and good for the determination of vitamin C in Crateva uailocularis.
