Effects of Low Temperature Stress on Physiological Characteristics of Zhanshi 327-13 Seedling Leaves
The present experiment was conducted to study the physiological and biochemical parameters related to low-temperature resistance in the leaves of two rubber seedlings, zhanshi 327-13 and GT1. The plants were treated with 10 and 6. The results showed that, compared with the normal temperature 15℃ (control) , the activities of POD in rubber seedlings with low-temperature treatments increased; SOD activity increased of Zhanshi 327-13, but decreased initially and then increased of GT1; CAT activity had a reverse trend between Zhanshi 327-13 and GT1; soluble sugar with low-temperature treatments increased initially, then decreased followed; soluble protein content increased of Zhanshi 327-13 and increased initially and then decreased of GT1; relative conductivity did not vary much. It was concluded that the cold resistance of variety Zhanshi 327-13 was higher than that of variety GT1.
