Analysis of Genetic Diversity of Dalbergia odorifera Growing in Hainan by SRAP
In order to explore the genetic diversity of Dalbergia odorifera in Hainan, 185 individual trees of D. odorifera collected from 23 locations in the eastern, western, southern, northern and central regions of Hainan Province were collected for analysis of their genetic diversity by using a molecular marker system, SRAP. The results showed that a total of 174 sites were detected by using the 25 pairs of SRAP primers screened previously, and that their polymorphic sites were 92, with a polymorphism rate of 52.8%.The UPGMA cluster analysis showed that the genetic similarity coefficient between the 185 individual trees of D. odorifera collected in Hainan and Dalbergia rimosa Roxb was 0.56. When the similarity coefficient was 0.73, the accessions of D. odorifera germplasm collected in Hainan could be divided into four groups. The SRAP molecular marker system could reveal the genetic diversity of D. odorifera growing in Hainan. This study provided a molecular systematic basis for the classification system and evolutionary relationship, and for the protection and rational utilization of the D. odorifera resources in Hainan.
