Effect of Plant Growth Regulators on Cutting Rooting of Dalbergia tsoi
To promote the large-scale development and utilization of Dalbergia tsoi Merr.et Chun, cutting propagation tech-nology was explored.One-to two-year-old D.tsoi D.tsoi was used as the experimental material, and an orthogonal experi-mental design was adopted. The effects of different plant growth regulators(NAA,IBA,and ABT1),concentrations(250,500,and 1 000 mg·L-1),and soaking times(2,4,and 8 h)on the rooting of D.tsoi cutting were studied. The results showed that D.tsoi was rooted mainly in the skin, that plant growth regulator species had the best effect on the rooting of D.tsoi cuttings, and that the soaking time was the worst. The optimal combination of cutting survival rate, rooting rate, total number of roots, and root length was A2B2C3(soaked in 500 mg·L-1 IBA for 8 h).The combination of the rooting numbers of the cuttings was A2B3C1(soaked in 1 000 mg·L-1 IBA for 2 h).The combination suitable for the growth of new shoots of cuttings was A1B1C1(soaked in 250 mg·L-1 NAA for 2 h).The recommended combinations ofD.tso cutting were A2B2C3 and A2B3C1,with rooting rates of 75.56%and 61.90%,which could effectively improve the survival rate of D.tso cutting and provide technical support for the expansion, development, and utilization of D.tso in the future.
