A Review of the Research Progress on Pinellia ternata Tuber Rot
The tuber rot disease of Pinellia ternata is one of the main limiting factors for its production and seriously affects the yield and quality of P.ternata.Because the pathogenic bacteria of Pinellia tuber rot disease are soil-borne pathogens,pre-vention and control of it are particularly difficult. In this review, advances in research on pathogenic factors, prevention and control measures, isolation and identification of pathogenic bacteria, screening of disease-resistant resources, and elaborate research on disease resistance mechanisms of P.ternata tuber rot were elaborated, which provided a theoretical basis for the exploration of germplasm resources for resistance to rot disease in P.ternata and the development of new prevention and con-trol methods such as disease resistance molecular breeding.
