Investigation and Analysis of Plant Resources and Landscape in Lingqu Park of Guilin
To understand the current situation of plant resources and the landscape of Lingqu Park in Guilin and provide a reference for improving the construction of the plant landscape of urban parks in Guilin,the plant species and configuration of Lingqu Park were investigated and analyzed through field investigations and related literature.The results showed that there were 153 plant species belonging to 143 genera and 72 families.There were 46 species of trees in 41 genera of 24 families,60 species of shrubs in 55 genera of 38 families,and 47 species of herbs in 47 genera of 27 families.The numbers of leaf,flower,and fruit plants were 85,50,and 28,respectively.Leaf plants are the most widely used in landscapes,followed by flower and fruit plants.The plant community configuration showed two typical patterns:arbor-shrub-ground cover and ar-bor-herb.The results of the survey were summarized,and the following recommendations were made:to improve the expres-sion of regional characteristics;to strengthen the development and use of native plants;to strengthen the application of water-front plants;to increase the level of plant maintenance and to strengthen the coordination with other landscape elements;and to integrate cultural awareness in plant landscapes.
