This field investigation of the plant species,growth,and plant configuration of the Yellow River levee in Kaifeng city was performed according to the current requirements of the Yellow River levee site for flood control and consolidation and frequent sandstorms.This study consulted relevant literature and then analyzed the relevant literature from the ecological perspective of drought resistance,moisture resistance,dust retention,wind resistance,and native plants.The selection of eco-logical plants suitable for the Yellow River levee and the application of specific planting positions were proposed.
