Analysis of Influencing Factors on the Willingness to Train High-Quality Farmers in the Context of Accelerating the Construction of a Strong Agricultural Country—Based on Survey Data from Yulin City,Guangxi,China
To accelerate the construction of a powerful agricultural country,high-quality farmers are the main force.Yulin City is both a large agricultural city and a large city with a high agricultural working population,and it is one of the vital areas to promote agricultural modernization in the context of accelerating the construction of an agricultural powerhouse.In recent years,Yulin City has attached great importance to improving the comprehensive quality of farmers and vigorously building a high-quality modern agriculture workforce.However,there is still some gap compared with the higher degree of agricultural development.For this reason,the article on high-quality farmers'training willingness explores the influencing factors of high-quality farmers in Yulin City training willingness.Based on the current situation of high-quality farmers'training in Yulin City,a questionnaire was formed by selecting 12 variables,including age,gender,education level,monthly household income,participation in training channels,the promotion effect of training,lack of theory,urgent problems to be solved in training,training methods,training content,training duration,training level,etc.The questionnaire was distributed to 500 farmers in Yulin City for sample collection,and cross-columnar analyses and chi-square tests were used to assess the willingness of 500 samples.The chi-square test was used to analyze the data of the 500 samples.The results show that the farmers'willingness of the sample to train is relatively high but shows diversity in the farmers'foundation,cognitive,and willingness to participate factors;the willingness to train shows significance(p<0.05)for the four variables such as age,expected training method,training content,and the best lecture time,which means that respondents with different willingness to train show significance(p<0.05)for the four variables such as age,expected training method,training content,and the best lecture time and other four variables showed differences.Through the above study,it is concluded that the younger the farmers are,the more they are inclined to engage in training tasks that focus on intensive off-the-job training modes,production technology,and market management,and the shorter the training time,the stronger their willingness to participate in high-quality farmers'training.At the same time,based on the conclusions of the analysis,focusing on enhancing the training willingness of high-quality farmers in Yulin City,we put forward the suggestions of broadening the training target team,improving the comprehensiveness of high-quality farmer cultivation,optimizing the training methods and contents,improving the innovativeness of high-quality farmer cultivation,optimizing the training time,enhancing the timeliness of high-quality farmer cultivation,and so on.
