SWOT Analysis and Strategic Study on the Development and Utilization of Mallotus oblongifolius Resources in Hainan
Mallotus oblongifolius is a tea-substituting beverage plant and medicinal plant widely used in the tourism and catering markets of Hainan.It has the effects of clearing heat and detoxication,antiphlogosis and cholagogic effects,relieving oil,and assisting digestion.The comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization,the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port,and the competition of the international market provide opportunities and challenges for the development and utilization of M.oblongifolius resources in Hainan.There are abundant M.oblongifolius resources in Hainan,but there are problems such as insufficient resource protection,backward development,and insufficient brand promotion.Based on the current develop-ment and utilization status of M.oblongifolius resources,a SWOT analysis was used.We noted several strategies,such as increasing resource protection,extending the industrial chain,strengthening brand construction,and promoting the integrated development of tea tourism for its development.
