Overview of Guangxi Yam Industry Development:Industry Overview and Technological Innovation
In recent years,indeed,the development of the yam industry in Guangxi Province has made several achievements.However,the planting area has shrunk,and industrial development is in a transition period,facing challenges.This paper in-troduces the planting situation,business entity overview,processing and sales of the main producing areas of yam in Guangxi,and the research and development status of technology research and development in yam in Guangxi,including planting and harvesting,fertilizer application,etc.The problems of low mechanization,unstable quality,lack of influential brands,and weak basic research in the development of the yam industry are analyzed,and relevant development suggestions such as strengthening technical research,strengthening agricultural insurance publicity,deepening the development of the industrial chain,and strengthening local brands are proposed to provide a reference for the industrial development of yam in Guangxi.
