New Special Fertilizer Effects on the Growth,Yield, and Quality of Flue-cured Tobacco in the Chenzhou Area
This study utilized Yunyan 87 as the experimental material in field plots located in Guiyang County and Anren County of Chenzhou City to investigate the effects of a new tobacco special base fertilizer on the growth and quality of flue-cured tobacco. The objective of this study was to assess the influence of different new special base fertilizers on the ag-ronomic,economic,and chemical properties of flue-cured tobacco. The results showed that the new special basal fertilizer No.2 exhibited the most favorable influence on the growth and development of tobacco plants.Specifically,it resulted in a 1.72%to 1.97%increase in plant height,a 2.24%to 3.32%increase in effective leaf number, and a 4.03%to 9.23%increase in stem circumference. In the Guiyang tobacco area, the application of new special fundamental fertilizer No.2 demonstrated the greatest impact on enhancing the chemical quality of tobacco leaves, increasing the yield and output value of flue-cured to-bacco,and increasing the proportion of high-grade tobacco and the average price by 7.94%and 8.78%,respectively.In the Anren tobacco area, the application of new special fundamental fertilizer No.3 exhibited the most significant effect on im-proving the output value of flue-cured tobacco, the proportion of high-grade tobacco, and the average price. It resulted in a 6.13%increase in the output value of flue-cured tobacco and a 9.98%increase in the proportion of high-grade tobacco.
