Study on the Development Level of Animal Husbandry in Hainan Province and Its Coupling Coordination
In the context of high-quality development,evaluating the development level of Hainan's animal husbandry and exploring the obstacles to the high-quality development of Hainan's animal husbandry and their coupling and coordination are the keys to addressing the low production efficiency and irrational layout of Hainan's animal husbandry structure.This study constructs an evaluation index system for the high-quality development of Hainan's livestock industry that includes four dimensions and 16 indicators,including fundamental conditions,output efficiency,technology level,and green develop-ment;analyzes the comprehensive level of Hainan's livestock industry development based on the data of Hainan Province's livestock industry development from 2013-2022 via the entropy-weighted Topsis model;and,on this basis,utilizes the obsta-cle-degree evaluation model to identify the main obstacles to the high-quality development of Hainan's animal husbandry industry and uses the coupling coordination degree model to measure the degree of coupling coordination between the indica-tors.The results show that from 2013 to 2022,the level of high-quality development of Hainan's livestock industry as a whole shows an increasing trend and the degree of closeness increases from 0.335 in 2013 to 0.695 in 2022.The four major dimen-sions of fundamental conditions,output efficiency,technical level,and green development,are all obstacles to the high-quality development of the livestock industry,and the average obstacle degree is 23.83%,24.89%,22.83%,and 29.84%,respectively.The coupling coordination degrees between the four-dimensional systems and the two two-dimensional systems are all in the range of 0.5-0.6,which is bare coordination.Based on the results of this study,countermeasures for the high-quality develop-ment of Hainan's animal husbandry industry are proposed to increase the output level of the animal husbandry industry,im-prove the scientific and technological level of the animal husbandry industry,and promote the green development of agricul-ture.
