Cerasus campanulata is an excellent local cherry blossom variety distributed in southern China.It has an early flowering period and bright colors and has seriously high ornamental value.It has been widely used in urban and rural landscape construction.This article reviews the research on the distribution of germplasm resources,community characteristics,genetic diversity,and the cultivation of new varieties of C.campanulata,both domestically and internationally,to provide valuable data for the cultivation and utilization of new varieties of C.campanulata.
