The relationship between PLR,NLR,MHR and prognosis of maintenance hemodialysis patients with chronic kidney disease
Objective To explore the relationship between platelet/lymphocyte ratio(PLR),neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR),monocyte/high-density lipoprotein ratio(MHR)and prognosis of maintenance hemodialysis patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD).Methods A total of 200 patients with CKD who underwent maintenance hemodialysis in the Nanyang Central Hospital from January 2020 and January 2022 were selected as the subjects. All were followed up till December 2022.According to prognosis, they were divided into death group and survival group. The general clinical data,PLR,NLR and MHR were compared between the two groups. The relationship between PLR,NLR,MHR and prognosis was analyzed by multivariate logistic regression analysis. The prognostic value of PLR,NLR and MHR was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves. Results By the end of follow-up,43(21.50%)patients died. The levels of blood urea nitrogen, uric acid,PLR,NLR and MHR in death group were significantly higher than those in survival group(t=2.982,2.740,13.090,10.233,6.026;all P<0.01).Multivariate logistic regression analysis found that PLR,NLR and MHR were independent risk factors of the prognosis[OR(95%CI)=3.277(1.733-6.197),3.323(1.439-7.675),3.241(1.154-9.106);all P<0.05].ROC curve analysis showed that the area under curve of PLR,NLR,MHR alone and in combination for predicting prognosis were 0.823,0.800,0.776 and 0.833,respectively(all P<0.05).Conclusion PLR,NLR and MHR were correlated with prognosis of CKD patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis, and were independent risk factors to predict the death.
