The impact of different frequency of vaccination history on the immunity of revaccination of rabies vaccine 2-1-1 regimen
Objective To observe the impact of different frequency of vaccination history on the immunity of revaccination of rabies vaccine 2-1-1 regimen. Methods The volunteers were divided into three groups according to the different times of rabies vaccination history, group A as control group without rabies vaccination history, group B with only one history of full-course rabies vaccination more than 3 years ago, group C with two histories of vaccination more than 3 years ago.The observation indexes included rabies antibody titer and positive rate. Results The positive rate of rabies antibody of group C with two histories of vaccination was 100 percent before re-immunization on day 0,however,the positive rate of group B with only one vaccination history was around 50 percent, which showed statistical differences between them(x2=37.125,P<0.05),and rabies virus antibodies were all negative in group A without vaccination history. The increase rate and titer level of antibody in group C were higher than those in groups B and A after revaccination, and there were statistical differences among them on day 0 and the 7th day(P<0.05 both in positive rate and titer). There were no statistical differences in the positive rate among the three groups on the 45th day(x2=1.069,P>0.05),but there were still statistical differences in antibody titer among them(x2=11.224,P<0.05).Conclusion There were statistical differences in antibody level among groups with different times of rabies vaccination history before and after re-immunization of rabies vaccine, and it was necessary to probe a more optimized post-exposure re-immunization regimen of rabies vaccine according to the different times of rabies vaccination history.
