Advances in molecular epidemiology of Echinococcus multilocularis
Alveolar echinococcosis is a kind of zoonotic parasitic disease caused by the larva of Echinococcus multilocularis, which seriously endangers the life and health of patients. In the past decade, with the development of molecular epidemiology, great progress has been made in the epidemiological study of Echinococcus multilocularis. This article will summarize the epidemic situation, genetic diversity and epidemic factors of Echinococcus multilocularis at home and abroad, and understand the related research techniques and methods,in order to provide technical reference for the epidemiological investigation, control and surveillance of alveolar echinococcosis.
