Correlation between serum Lp-PLA2,Klotho,PTX3 with Hp infection combined with acute coronary syndrome
Objective To investigate the correlation between serum lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2(Lp-PLA2),Klotho protein,pentraxin-3(PTX3)with Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection combined with acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Methods In this study,220 ACS patients who were treated in the Baoding First Central Hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were regarded as the study subjects and recorded as the ACS group.The ACS group was separated into a simple ACS group(n=96)and an Hp combined with ACS group(n=124)based on whether the patients had Hp.An additional 180 Hp infection patients were selected as the simple Hp group.ELISA was applied to detect levels of high-density lipoprotein,total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein,Lp-PLA2,Klotho,and PTX3.A blood routine analyzer was used to detect white blood cell count,neutrophil count(NE),and hemoglobin levels.Pearson correlation was applied to analyze the correlation between Lp-PLA2,Klotho,and PTX3 levels in the Hp combined with ACS group.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was applied to analyze the diagnostic value of Lp-PLA2,Klotho,and PTX3 levels for the occurrence of Hp infection in ACS patients.Z-test was applied to compare the differences in area under the curve(AUC).Results Compared with the simple Hp group,the ACS group had higher NE,Lp-PLA2,and PTX3 levels,and lower Klotho level(t=7.501,9.741,10.162,10.478;all P<0.05).Compared with the simple ACS group,the Hp combined with ACS group had higher NE,Lp-PLA2,and PTX3 levels,and lower Klotho level,the differences were statistically significant(t=2.410,7.625,7.618,7.047;all P<0.05).The serum Klotho level was negatively correlated with Lp-PLA2 and PTX3 levels in the Hp combined with ACS group(r=-0.406,-0.409;all P<0.05),while Lp-PLA2 level was positively correlated with PTX3 level(r=0.428,P<0.05).The AUC for diagnosing Hp infection in ACS patients with serum Lp-PLA2,Klotho,and PTX3 alone was 0.834,0.818,and 0.815,while the AUC for combined diagnosis was 0.957,which was better than their respective individual diagnosesthe differences were statistically significant(Ztriple combination vs.Lp-PLA2=5.160,Ztriple combination vs.Klotho=4.876,Ztriple combination vs.PTX3=5.663,all P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with Hp infection combined with ACS had higher levels of Lp-PLA2 and PTX3,while Klotho level was lower,and combined diagnosis had certain clinical significance.
