Epidemiological characteristics of notifiable diseases in Tongwei county of Gansu province from 2012-2022
Objective To understand and master the epidemic characteristics of notifiable diseases in Tongwei county,and provide scientific basis for the development of infectious disease prevention and control measures in the future.Methods The data of legal infectious diseases in Tongwei county from 2012 to 2022 were collected,and the descriptive epidemiological method was used to statistically analyze the data.Results A total of 13 251 cases of 31 types of class B and C infectious diseases were reported in Tongwei county from 2012 to 2022;the annual average of incidence rate was 291.94/100 000.The annual incidence rates were 225.81/100 000,139.45/100 000,109.10/100 000,98.11/100 000,190.82/100 000,279.73/100 000,461.69/100 000,644.49/100 000,269.35/100 000,331.01/100 000 and 441.42/100 000,respectively.The male to female incidence was 1.32:1,and the incidence rate was significant difference between male and female(183.06/100 000 vs.138.09/100 000)(x2=584.00,P<0.001).The overall incidence was mainly distributed in 0-<16 years old,and the occupation distribution was mainly farmers,scattered and nursery children,and students,accounting for 94.48%;the intestinal diseases accounted for 35.74%,respiratory diseases 39.15%,blood and sexually transmitted diseases 23.43%,natural and insect-borne diseases 1.66%;the top 5 pathogenic diseases were influenza,other infectious diarrhea,hepatitis B,hand-foot-and-mouth disease,mumps,accounting for 81.13%.Conclusions The incidence of infectious diseases in Tongwei county showed an increasing trend from 2012 to 2022;the surveillance of blood and sexually transmitted disease,respiratory and intestinal infectious diseases should be strengthened in the future.At the same time,epidemic surveillance should be strengthened in key populations and key places;vaccination rates of notifiable diseases and awareness of disease prevention among key groups should be improved.
