Research progress in the treatment of Japanese encephalitis in adults
Japanese encephalitis(JE)is an infectious disease that can cause irreversible damage to the central nervous system.Due to the complex pathogenesis of the disease,there are no specific drugs or clinical guidelines for the treatment of JE,which is still being closely monitored by researchers.The role of immunotherapy and combination therapy in JE has gradually become clearer in the current research progress.Therefore,this article reviews the antiviral therapy,immunotherapy and combination therapy for the treatment of JE.
