Effect of autologous NK cell therapy and the changes of peripheral lymphocyte subsets,miR-122-5p and miR-29a-3p in patients with renal cell carcinoma
Objective To analyze the effect of autologous natural killer(NK)cell therapy and the changes of peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets,microrna(miR)-122-5p and miR-29a-3p in patients with renal cell carcinoma. Methods 60 patients with renal cell carcinoma admitted to Gansu Wuwei Tumour Hospital from March 2023 to January 2024 were included and divided into observation group(n=31)and control group(n=29)according to the treatment plan. The control group received conventional chemotherapy, and the observation group received conventional chemotherapy combined with autologous NK cell therapy. The therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared. The subsets of peripheral blood lymphocytes(CD3+,C D4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+),tumor markers[carcino embryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)]and the expressions of miR-122-5p and miR-29a-3p were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the effective rate was better in the observation group(x2=4.348,P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the levels of CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+in observation group were all increased after treatment(t=2.448,4.794,4.500;all P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the levels of CD8+,CEA and CA125 in observation group were all decreased after treatment(t=4.812,4.129,3.823;all P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the expressions of miR-122-5p and miR-29a-3p in the observation group were all increased after treatment(t=2.860,3.526;all P<0.05).There was no significant adverse reaction between the two groups(x2=0.201,P>0.05).Conclusion Autologous NK cell therapy had a good therapeutic effect on patients with renal cell carcinoma, which could improve the immune function and inhibit the expression of tumor markers, and the mechanism might be related to miR-122-5p and miR-29a-3p.
