Exploring the course path of medical parasitology with"four self-confidences"as the main line
"Four self-confidences"is an important content of ideological and political education in universities in the new era.Medical parasitology is a basic course for medical majors.Our teaching team takes cultivating"four self-confidences"as the fundamental task,linking China's superior institutional system with the process and achievements of parasitic disease prevention and control,and cultivating students'"road confidence and system confidence".At the same time,the role of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of parasitic diseases,new methods of clinical diagnosis and treatment,and cutting-edge achievements of independent research in China are integrated into teaching,constructing a continuity of transition from theory to practice,basic medicine to clinical medicine,and guiding students to use Marxist philosophical thinking to analyze and solve problems,cultivating students'"theoretical confidence and cultural confidence".The results of the course evaluation survey and analysis show that this topic has had a good impact on students'establishment of the correct"Three outlooks",and can also help students better understand and learn ideological and political courses such as the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In summary,integrating the"four self-confidences"into medical parasitology is a necessary measure to elevate the connotation of ideological and political education in the curriculum.
