Research on material design and trial production of composite leaf spring
Aiming at the leaf spring of automobile truck,based on its load and installation conditions,the composite leaf spring was used to replace the leaf spring,so as to improve the fatigue service life of the leaf spring and reduce the weight of the truck.The designs of the spring body,end connection structure and middle connection structure were completed.Through the selection of resin and process,the resin grade and molding process of leaf spring manufacturing were determined,and then the finite element simulation analysis was carried out in combination with the layer design.Finally,the bench performance tests were carried out to verify the finite element simulation results,and the best composite leaf spring design and production method were obtained.The strength and stiffness of the composite material leaf spring produced met the requirements and the weight reduction exceeded 50%.
