Catalytic efficiency of organotin chelates on polyurethane system
The influence of the chelates formed by acetic acid, acetylacetone, ethyl acetoacetate and organotin on the gel time of the acrylic polyurethane system was studied. The reaction activation energy and pre-exponential factor were obtained by measuring the gel time at different temperatures, and the catalytic reaction efficiency and reaction mechanism of various organotin chelates on the polyurethane system were analyzed. The results showed that acetic acid and acetylacetone as chelating agents had a significant impact on the reaction rate of the polyurethane system, while the effect of ethyl acetoacetate was not significant. In addition, the addition of chelating agents prolonged the surface and solid drying time of the paint film, while having little effect on the hardness, adhesion, and impact resistance of the coating.
