Low-temperature crack resistance of epoxy reclaimed asphalt mixture
By designing four groups of different material combinations, the epoxy recycled asphalt mixture specimens were prepared for a semi-circular bending test to evaluate the crack resistance, and the cracking process was characterized by a-coustic emission technology. The results showed that compared with the unmodified mixture, the post-peak fracture energy at-10 ℃ of the core-shell rubber(CSR)modified epoxy recycled asphalt mixture with 30wt%recycled asphalt mixture(RAP)increased by 54.4%,reaching 976.29 J/m2,and the total fracture energy reached 2 000.49 J/m2.The low-temper-ature crack resistance of epoxy recycled asphalt was greatly improved by the CSR,and its performance index reached the level of better than the new epoxy asphalt mixture. When the RAP content was low,the crack resistance of the mixture was less affected. In addition, when the regenerant was added, the fracture energy of the epoxy recycled mixture increased slightly but its brittleness became larger.
